Associate Accountant

Description

This position performs a variety of accounting activities to support the daily finance and accounting functions of the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the bank’s daily settlement process
  • Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts for bank and affiliated entities
  • Generate and post journal entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursement
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees, Ultimate Software experience a plus
  • Process Accounts Payable Workflow accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Prepare quarterly and annual filings for sales and use tax and backup withholdings
  • Process outgoing wires of various wholesale funding deposits
  • Maintain manual of finance department processes and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with loan fee and cost rules

AVP/VP Business Services

Description

As AVP/VP Business Services, you'll promote the cash management suite of products and services to clients and prospects as well as ensures internal staff are aware of features, benefits, and properly identifies referral opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop Business Services/ deposit sales opportunities while acting on and closing all leads generated internally and externally from lenders and various delivery channels
  • Attend regular pipeline meetings and periodic loan committee meetings
  • Conducts client/prospect needs analysis
  • Act as lead business development representative for Business Services prospects and proposal issuance
  • Follow up with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure proper implementation regarding all applicable documentation and necessary paperwork for proper compliance
  • Develop proposed service solutions/sales presentations to assist businesses and organizations to make efficient use of BWB Business Services products and services
  • Emphasis on deposit generation and banking services including ACH, Online Wire Origination, Remote Deposit, Corporate Credit Cards, Merchant Card Processing, Positive Pay, as well as Checking and Savings accounts
  • Duties: 80% support of Business Services referral activity, 20% new relationship generation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 - 5+ years of banking experience, preferably cash management
  • Proven sales and business development skills
  • Exceptional business acumen and relationship management skills
  • Strong financial management skills and operational expertise

What is the program?

The Campus Development Program prepares college students for success after graduation. It's an opportunity to learn more about business and banking,

  • Assignment of a BWB buddy/mentor
  • Shadowing within specific departments to gain exposure to the type of work the participants can expect as an intern or full-time associate
  • Participation in BWB sponsored community outreach efforts
  • Assessing, developing, and sharpening participants’ leadership skillset through Networking and Etiquette training.

Client Specialist

Description

The Client Specialist serves as the face of the bank as the initial welcoming contact for clients and provides general office support to maintain a welcoming, professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately processes routine financial transactions including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
  • Completes client requests such as wires, online banking assistance, and check ordering promptly
  • Balances assigned cash drawer in accordance with Bank procedures
  • Ensures all required documentation is completed for all transactions
  • Greet all clients and answer phone calls to ensure a positive client experience
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Maintain conference rooms and kitchen and ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Scans and processes teller work throughout the day
  • Assists with scanning of documentation into internal Accu Systems
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
  • Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge of banking and keep abreast of new and/or changes in regulations

Director of Deposit Operations

Description

As Director of Deposit Operations, you are responsible for the day to day management of the Deposit Operations department. This role will manage processes and procedures that drive operational efficiency that adhere to Bank policy, applicable laws and regulations. This position directly manages a team of employees and is expected to contribute to setting strategy, develop staff and foster a great working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of a team of employees; facilitate meetings, conduct reviews, identify training needs, and assist with career development
  • Develop and maintain scorecards to manage efficiencies and identify volume trends
  • Make decisions on team staffing, including hiring, task assignments and terminations
  • Develop strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of Deposit Operations
  • Ensure all processes and procedures related to Deposit Operations are accurate and updated to the most current process
  • Manage the resolution of any processing errors, disputes and deposit related questions
  • Manage the daily processing of all incoming and outgoing wire activity for both domestic and international transactions, including volume reporting and trend analysis
  • Manage all exception item related processing activities ensuring deadlines are met for all return activity including NSF’s, non-posts, and stop payments
  • Manage all item processing related activities ensuring daily branch capture submissions and related balancing activity is completed
  • Oversee the balancing of all General Ledger accounts related to Deposit Operations
  • Manage periodic reporting requirements for, but not limited to, IOLTA, IORETA and Escheatment
  • Assist the SVP Operations with all End of Year reporting as it relates to 1098’s, 1099’s, and 5498 reporting
  • Engage and collaborate with other department leaders to address problems and create resolutions that positively impact the quality and efficiency of workflows
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including, but not limited to, BSA
  • Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge of banking and keep abreast of new and/or changes in regulations

Loan Coordinator

Description

As a Loan Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll provide administrative management of a diverse loan portfolio to ensure all loan documentation is accurate and in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily loan function activities including initiating preparation of loan documents, payment processing, fund new loans, prepare loan payoffs, initiate wires, etc.
  • Lead loan closings and weekly meetings for appointed lending team
  • Monitor loans for compliance with federal regulations (Consumer loan, TRID, etc.)
  • Track policy exceptions for post-closing review and provide corrective action
  • Process and/or oversee participation in loan payments and advances
  • Order Title Commitment, O&E, and Flood Determinations
  • Process credit verification and credit bureau reports
  • Resource for internal staff, clients and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues
  • Manage internal/external requests and financial transactions within the terms of the loan documentation including advances, payments, wire transfers, and payoffs
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Loan Quality Assurance Specialist

Description

As a Loan Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll provide quality assurance and audit functions on loan documentation to ensure they are accurate and in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Verify data held on the bank’s core system to ensure all coding and loan terms agree with the credit approval and supporting documentation
  • Review loan files in a post-close review process, verifying all documentation has been returned complete while setting exceptions for any missing or incomplete closing documentation
  • Confirm that the Adverse Action process is complete and administer the Flood process
  • Responsible for filing original notes and transfers necessary collateral to the vault
  • Manage, monitor and/or report activity related to denied/not approved loans, as assigned
  • Monitor FIDICIA related reporting, documenting the maintenance in the bank’s core systems
  • Monitor the CIP and other regulatory requirements, ensuring they are fulfilled and uploaded to the imaging system while setting exceptions for any missing documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of rules, regulations, and policies relating to loan documentation
  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Senior Credit Analyst

Description

The Senior Credit Analyst provides support to the lenders by evaluating the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the bank. The Senior Credit Analyst typically works on larger, more complex transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review and analyze loan requests, financial information, appraisals, title insurance, etc. for larger, more complex deals
  • Assist lenders with closings
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the commercial loan documentation system (LaserPro), with a focus on maximizing production and quality
  • Mentor Credit Analysts
  • Identify historical trends of businesses or markets
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries and recommendations on loan structure/pricing for lenders
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure accuracy
  • Assign risk ratings to support loan requests
  • Prepare annual reviews of existing loan relationships
  • Prepare credit presentations to be used in the credit approval process including: cash flow analysis, forecasting of future performance, industry trends, and loan performance histories
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for lending clients and accounts
  • Assist loan and credit department managers with special projects for managing risks in the lending function
  • Maintain knowledge of all supporting software, compliance, and procedures as they relate to the loan department
  • Assist lenders in maintaining positive relationships with new and existing clients by providing timely feedback to client requests and questions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field

Systems Analyst

Description

This position provides tier-one support of Fiserv Premier applications by assisting users with system questions and account processing issues. This position also works with departments to review system capabilities and make recommendations to department managers and Sr. Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reviewing critical Premier specification changes and making non-critical changes.
  • Review and implement Premier Security change requests
  • Create and maintain custom documents that are used by Deposit Services in BPM.
  • Works with the Sr. Systems Analyst /application owners to review system capabilities and make recommendations to increase the utilization.
  • Continually review and update documented procedures and processes related to all job functions.
  • Maintains competency in all Premier systems and stay abreast of new releases and system enhancements.
  • Create scripts to automate account changes as requests are received.
  • Troubleshoot Tier 1 digital and Fiserv related tickets.
  • Assist in determining the training needs requirements for end users based off of the technical support required in troubleshooting.
  • Analyze the system requirements with the user needs, make recommendations for system changes to the Sr. System Analyst.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science and 1-2 years’ experience in a technical support environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Proficient knowledge of Fiserv Premier

Vendor Management Associate

Description

As a Vendor Management Associate, you'll support the Vendor Management Team and serve as a liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for ensuring risks associated with Third Party relationships, before and after entering into contracts, are sufficiently identified, assessed, monitored and controlled.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Vendor Management program including policy, procedures, and guidelines
  • Participate in Vendor Management team meetings
  • Drive operational execution of Department workflow – contract review & execution, obtain support
  • Maintain documentation and risk rating of vendor relationships
  • Provide data entry for all vendor risk assessments and contract information in applicable systems
  • Work with various business units to ensure appropriate vendor monitoring – ensure invoicing and SLAs align with contract requirements
  • Create a quarterly summary report for Risk Committee; Identify areas of concerns, raise recommendations on optimization
  • Identify opportunities to request discounts from suppliers for annual maintenance renewals
  • Coordinate logistics for ongoing vendor review sessions with vendor and contract owner
  • Partner with Vendor Management Team to contribute objectives, criteria, standards and methodology and metrics for vendor management disciplines
  • Ensure exit strategies for critical vendors are identified and documented

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years vendor management experience preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
